Eco-Renovation – Part IX

alexhunt Bright Green News, New Project, News

So – here we are in the sunny month of May – even though it was raining buckets earlier today…

The project has moved on another few steps to our goal and the house has really taken shape. Now the extension is up, the room in the roof just awaiting it crowning glory window we were able to build the monopitch roof at the rear of the house. This has created a vast space in the room below and really transformed the previous lounge. There are photos below but more to follow…

Also the well insulated extension has been knocked through to the house and most of its windows installed – the zinc is on and it looks GREAT (not that I’m big headed – we’ve been drawing crowds who have been admiring the house).

The groundworks have been completed (much to the relief of our clients and their neighbours who I don’t think were at all prepared for the upheaval of major groundworks) – and the house looks fantastic…

I’ve just bought a wide angle lens for my phone camera (£6 on ebay!) and hoping to take some cool shots when the sun is shining to try and do it justice…
