just a quick update as things are moving on apace – we have removed the ceilings in the living room and kitchen – exposing the steels completely – it is amazing what a difference a few feet in height can make to a space.

We have also stripped out the downstairs bathroom and airing cupboard – see photo below – and worked with a local rubbish clearance company C&S Rubbish Clearance (see http://www.freewebs.com/csrubbish/ for more details) to recycle as much of the phenomenal amount of hardcore, plasterboard, ceramic units, tiles, timber etc. that is produced during the demolition of the linings of a property.

So, now the real process of building begins – we have a lot to do but the team are excited about this project and things are moving along.
