House Renovation – Brighton
Having decided to complete much of the internal work themselves, the clients in this instance wanted us to work with them to complete the works they weren’t going to do themselves. We worked with them to accommodate their wish list – installing new heating and electrics and then focused largely on their new garage, sunroom & giving their draughty ‘mock tudor’ detached home a much needed facelift. The work overall raised the house from a SAP rating of 47 (E) with predicted energy bills of £2,889/yr (although the clients actually expected this to be higher) to a much less energy intensive 78 (C) a reduction of energy consumption by approximately 75% meaning that annual energy bills should decrease to approximately £1220/yr.
