This week it has all be about preparing the groundfloor for the installation of the underfloor heating which is scheduled for today… and even if I do say so myself we’ve done a pretty immaculate job – it really is a thing of beauty.
A quick thank you to the guys from Insumate who have been open minded enough to work with us as we use their product in a slightly different way to the one they intended.
I should also make a mention of our electrician who has been busy in amongst all of the nasty original mineral wool in the loft space (we’re leaving it there as there is already >300mm and so offers a U value of 0.13W/m2k) – more than sufficient – saves a little money – saves waste… must be a good thing.
