I was chatting with a friend about getting on the property ladder and how hard it is to do – and funnily enough a lady called Lily has been asking me to blog about her info on the Rent to Buy scheme which she introduces here:
There are many people today who are worried about how they can possibly make their first move onto the property ladder, when we’re still in times of great financial uncertainty. Young couples and single people who are still living at home but in full time work – as well as many other people from all economic strata are now turning to something called the rent to buy scheme in order that they can find themselves a property to live in and support themselves independently. For more information on this type of scheme and how it could potentially help you, you can read this article here.
In the interest of making it clear that we have no commercial interest in this I thought I’d also add a link to an article in the Independent newspaper – click here – hope its of interest?
Some of these larger housing association companies are coming round to the value of eco-homes – the Relish project from Worthing Homes springs to mind locally – for info click here
